Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how WiredEye (“the App”) handles information. The App is developed and provided by Muratcan Gözüm (“I”, “me”, “my”).

Summary

• The App primarily processes monitoring data on your device.
• By default, I do not sell your data and do not share your monitoring logs with third parties for advertising.
• If you contact support by email, I receive your email address, message content, and any attachments you send.
• Some core monitoring features may require app/package visibility and Android platform features such as VpnService and, where available, profile-related interoperability.

Information the App may process on-device

Depending on the features you use, the App may process and display monitoring-related information locally on your device, including:

• App/package identifiers related to network usage
• Installed app visibility information needed to map observed traffic to apps on the device
• Network endpoints and metadata, such as IP/host, ports, protocol, and timestamps
• Traffic volume statistics, such as bytes, throughput, and packet rate
• Filters, searches, and view preferences you enter inside the App

How platform permissions and Android features may be used

App/package visibility

To provide app-level monitoring context, WiredEye may inspect package visibility on your device to determine which installed apps correspond to observed network activity. This information is used to power user-facing monitoring features inside the App, such as showing app-related traffic context, and is not used for advertising.

VPN-based monitoring

Certain monitoring features may use Android’s VpnService to create a local monitoring tunnel on the device so the App can inspect and present network metadata for the features you enable. This functionality is used for network monitoring and analysis within the App.

Work profile / cross-profile support

On supported devices, and only where Android, device configuration, and any applicable administrator policies allow it, WiredEye may support limited profile-related interoperability (for example, personal profile and work profile scenarios) to improve app context and monitoring visibility across profiles. Availability of these features depends on device support, profile configuration, user action, and administrator or OEM restrictions.

Information I collect

Support emails. If you choose to contact support, I receive:

• Your email address
• The content of your email
• Any attachments you choose to send

Information sharing

I do not sell personal data. I do not share your monitoring logs with third parties for advertising or marketing. I may disclose information only when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to legal requests, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, or operate and secure the App.

Third-party services

The App does not require third-party analytics or ads to function. If optional third-party services are added in the future (for example, crash reporting or analytics), this policy will be updated before or when those services are introduced, and consent will be requested where required.

Data retention

• Monitoring data displayed by the App is primarily processed locally on your device and, if stored, remains on your device unless you choose to export or share it.
• Locally stored App data can generally be cleared from within the App or by uninstalling the App, subject to normal Android behavior.
• Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, troubleshoot, and maintain support records, and are deleted when no longer needed.

Your choices

• You can choose whether to contact support by email.
• You can revoke Android runtime permissions such as notifications through your device settings.
• If a feature depends on Android platform support, work profile settings, or administrator policy, that feature may be unavailable if those requirements are not met.

Data deletion requests

If you have contacted support and want me to delete support emails or related personal data that I control, you may request deletion by emailing gozummuratcan@gmail.com. I may retain limited information where required by law, for security purposes, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Security

I use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information I handle. However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

Children’s privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL and will include a new effective date.
